1. General information
Please note that the participants who require visas to enter Lithuania have to apply for visas in advance. The full list of states to which visa-free regime is applicable is presented at the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
Participants, bearing a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa, do not have to apply for a single-entry Schengen visa to visit Lithuania.
Journalists shall receive accreditation before applying for a visa.

It is recommended to contact the embassies in advance in order to arrange the meeting.
3. Documents to be submitted
For members of official delegations
a completed application in the prescribed form; |
a valid travel document (its period of validity must exceed the validity period of the requested visa by at least three months); |
one 35 x 45 mm colour photograph; |
an invitation from the organizers of the conference; |
verbal note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the respective state, received through the diplomatic channels. |
The requirement of personal attendance is lifted for the members of official delegations listed in a verbal note.
For journalists
a completed application in the prescribed form; |
a valid travel document (its period of validity must exceed the validity period of the requested visa by at least three months); |
one 35 x 45 mm colour photograph; |
an invitation from the organizers of the conference; |
| a copy of an accreditation card; |
valid health insurance policy; |
documents substantiating the means of substance (travel checks, bank statement, cash); |
confirmation of hotel reservation; |
confirmation of return ticket reservation. |
For businessmen
a completed application in the prescribed form; |
a valid travel document (its period of validity must exceed the validity period of the requested visa by at least three months); |
one 35 x 45 mm colour photograph; |
an invitation from the organizers of the conference; |
valid health insurance policy; |
documents substantiating the means of substance (travel checks, bank statement, cash); |
confirmation of hotel reservation; |
| confirmation of return ticket reservation; |
| consular fee. |
Businessmen are advised to enclose a supporting letter from the official institution. In case of presentation of such a letter, the requirement of personal attendance might be lifted.
N.B. an invitation means a personal invitation or confirmation of on-line registration to the event
